This new brand has simply packaged up the best results after 5 years of trials, to get 1000s more dogs and cats, comfortable, content and cared for.
First Step Formulations are the result of our expert Nicola Haden-Scott and her team of professionals. They have been developing these formulation over five years with a varied number of dogs to create the first step towards bespoke supplements for dogs and cats, this is where you start your digital journey!
Our knowledge and expertise of powerful fresh, preservative free herbs and minerals stems back to 1997. Now we aim to share our message into the 20 million homes across the UK who own either cats or dogs and love their pets as much as we do.
Nicola has been our Senior Formulator since 2012 and dedicated much of her time learning about dog nutrition and harnessed the expert skills in the field of leading Dog Behaviorist Helen Goodall, as well as dog owning vets, physiotherapists, sporting dog trainers and more. Nicola works with an internal team who have all being part of her trials and whose dogs are now used on the packaging, keeping it real, keeping it close and sharing our little bit of magic, is very exciting.
"My deepest research was working with Behaviourist Helen. Dog owners can get out of their depth quickly with young dogs and lockdown has been a real challenge for so many people. For our formulations to support behaviour means we are working on improving comfort, mobility and to reduce stress. Helen was able to use her skills to train the dogs and also identify the underlying issues that could be adding unsuspected triggers to the dogs' behavioural presentation. Natural Bespoke Supplements is capable of creating a supplement for the individual. However, we always have a start point which after many years we know is highly effective to all breeds and sizes but also, and to us very importantly, is how settled the dogs tummy remains. We recommend that every dog uses First Step Formulation for a minimum of twelve weeks before we consider changing the powder. This is the reason we have kept our products as powder, so we can change them easily to suit every dog as he or she ages and changes."
The powder is easily sprinked into their feed and ensures that we are not needing to add extra calories into their diet enabling them to digest the benefits of the supplements. Many people struggle to feed tablets too, so many dog owners come to us from shop sold brands because of it.

Nicola Haden Scott Senior Formulator and dog specialist
Nicola began with bespoke in 2013 and first qualified in dog nutrition in 2015. She is the UK's leading expert in bespoke supplements for animals. She has worked closely with physiothreapists and dog behaviorists testing her First Step Formulations for effectiveness and gentleness on the stomach. They were all approved for the pet world by the legislators prior to covid, but it is only Discover Dogs where it has been shown to the urban dog owners.

Andie Cox Formulator
Andie sits as Nicola's right hand woman, she has two dogs and a grown up daughter. Andie offers advise on herbs and minerals all day every day and and joined the team in 2013. Her knowledge of powders is extensive and her holistic training is accross many areas, she also has a lovely husband.

Jamie Rickers Award Winning CiTV presenter, DJ, Theatre Producer
Jamie Rickers has worked with the team at Bespoke since Covid struck. Natural Bespoke Supplements was approved by all the legislators and it was then ready to launch. We used the time wisely and now Jamie is trained and set to create the Podcasts of support with our In-house Experts and visiting professionals. This will educate the dog owners about diet and supplementation in a fun and light-hearted way.

Archie GingellFilm, Production and Sales
Archie Gingell, 20 recently took daily control of the accredited dedicated successful handmaking supplement practice, reporting to a highly capable and experienced General Manager David Ballam. Graduating with his UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology his filming skills are being used for the social campaigns that are being created. Archie had begun working in the award-winning local butchers aged 16, then as he graduated Covid struck, so instead of going to media university he opted to become the Covid village meat delivery young man. Serving customers and being good at selling at retail coupled with a short time in a vast NHS warehouse has given Archie a great insight and grounding to lead his siblings with Nicola and Jo's expertise into a world that dog owners do not know they need - YET! He will be joined by Olivia Gingell on Sunday 15th who will be using her sales skills to send out the message to this as yet, unsuspected market!
